Museo Lítico de Tikal (Tikal Lithics Museum), Tikal National Park, Petén, Guatemala

The monuments, and wooden lintel, presented here were all photographed on April 30, 2016. I shot the whole museum in one day; it was dark enough inside to shoot during the day with raking artificial light. Because of the rather rushed circumstances, I did not shoot closeup drawing aids of the individual glyph blocks, but I did shoot five or six raking light angles of the whole faces of each side, and I would be happy to provide these images to anyone who requests them (brucelove9@gmail.com). And I did not take the time to get the measurements of the monuments, which I usually do for these corpus volumes. Despite these shortcomings, I trust this presentation will be a welcome addition to the epigraphic history of central Petén.
